Clickable mapping system.
- Restaurants delivery areas. On the calgarytakeout mapping system you can outline your exact delivery area. The accuracy of our mapping system will ensure that you only get orders from customers located within your delivery area.
- Delivery fees. calgarytakeout's mapping system gives you the ability to break up your restaurant delivery area into zones. Within each zone you can specify a different delivery fee. Your customer will be quoted an accurate delivery fee depending in which zone they are located. For customers closer to your restaurant you can quote a minimum charge and for customers at the farthest distance will be quoted your maximum delivery fee.
- Delivery times. calgarytakeout's mapping system gives you the ability to break up your restaurant delivery area into zones. Within each zone you can specify a different delivery time. Your customer will be quoted an accurate delivery time depending in which zone they are located.
- Takeout times. For customers that will be picking up their order, restaurants can specify how long it will take to prepare their order; i.e. 20.30,40 minutes.
Interactive menu system.
- Multiple menus. To accommodate restaurants that provide a breakfast, lunch & dinner menu, calgarytakeout's software will automatically update which menu is active depending on the time of day. Restaurants can choose to have their breakfast menu displayed in the morning, the lunch for the afternoon and the dinner menu during the evening. This allows customers to view your items on all of your menus but only order from the menu that is active.
- Restaurants hours. Calgarytakeout's online & interactive menu will only accept orders during your restaurant's business hours. Your restaurant can automatically schedule your restaurant's menu to be "Open" or "Closed" on the calgarytakeout website at your specified times.
- Rush hours. Restaurants can specify a certain time range during the day when they are extra busy. During this time you can increase your delivery or takeout times and increase your delivery fees accordingly. Furthermore, restaurants that are unable to accept takeout or delivery orders during their "rush" hours, calgarytakeout can be programmed to take your menu offline. I.e. Your menu can be taken offline between the hours of 4-6 pm on Thurs, Fri & Sat. After 6pm your menu will come back online.
Automated telephone system.
- Customer verification phone call. When an order is placed through the calgarytakeout website, customers are given an order number. Immediately after the order is placed, calgarytakeout calls the customer. During this verification phone call, the customer is prompted to enter their order number. Order numbers are randomly generated and never duplicated.
- Restaurant verification phone call. Never miss an order. calgarytakeout always makes a verification phone call to restaurants before faxing their order. If a restaurant is too busy to accept the order, they are able to cancel the order during the verification phone call and the customer will receive a callback from calgarytakeout to let the customer know they will need to place their order with a different restaurant. If a restaurant fails to answer the verification call, calgarytakeout will make two more attempts and then cancel the order.
- Customer callback. In case your restaurant misses your verification phone call, or in the event that your restaurant is unable to accept an order and you cancel during the verification call. Calgarytakeout's phone system will call the customer to inform them that their order has been cancelled.
